Bill McGill

Born September 16, 1939 Bill McGill played in the NBA mainly as a Centre/Forward during their playing career, season(s): 1963-1970. Bill "The Hill" McGill was an American basketball player best known for inventing the jump hook. McGill was the No. 1 overall pick of the 1962 NBA draft from the University of Utah, after leading the NCAA in scoring with 38.8 points per game in 1961-1962.
