George Mearns

Born April 18, 1922 George Mearns played in the NBA mainly as a Forward during their playing career, season(s): 1947-1948. George Mearns was an American professional basketball player. He played for the Providence Steamrollers in the 1946–47 and 1947–48 seasons of the Basketball Association of America. He played in the November 2, 1946 game against the Boston Celtics, which was the Celtics franchise's first-ever game.
